Kitt Hancock
Partner, President and Chief Strategist

 

Kitt offers over 30 years of business-to-business/high-technology marketing experience. Over the course of his agency career, he has served in strategic planning, creative and account management roles for dozens of technology companies, including Veritas Software, Interland, and major divisions of Microsoft, Motorola, Verizon, Harris Corporation, Siemens, Lockheed Martin, NCR, GE, Westinghouse, FedEx, ABB, IBM, Genicom, and Mitsubishi.

For many accounts, his strategic planning role has encompassed such activities as brand strategy development, message development, marketing plan development, channel development, and partner development. He earned his B.S. degree in Advertising from the University of Florida.

 
Tom

Tom Darling
Managing Partner

 

Tom offers 25 years of business-to-business/high-technology marketing experience, having worked on both the client side and now on the agency side of the business. He managed the internal marketing communications program for LXE - a wireless data systems firm - when the company grew from $10 million to $45 million in sales. He also worked for Scientific-Atlanta and Mitsubishi International Corporation.

Tom has spent 17 years with DaynerHall, helping to manage such accounts as VERITAS Software, Datamax, Power & Tel Supply, WhereNet, Tradex and others. Tom has a B.S. degree in Economics from Illinois State University and an MBA from Governor's State University.

 
Matt

Matt Garrepy
Partner & Creative Director

 

With 14 years of experience in both advertising and marketing environments, Matt brings a strong aptitude for creative direction and strategic marketing to our clients. His experience covers a wide range of industries in both the business-to-business and consumer genres, with customers in the technology, healthcare and retail sectors. His client experience features a number of Fortune 500 organizations – as well as start-ups and incubator companies in the early stages of funding. Some of his clients include  IBM, Microsoft, Verizon, Sprint/NEXTEL, Lockheed Martin, Metavante, Raytheon, Hilton Vacation Clubs and the YMCA. Before his partnership at DaynerHall, Matt served as a senior art director at MARC USA – one of the largest advertising agency conglomerates in the United States. His technical skill set covers print, television, radio and Web-based applications (including online, interactive and mobile).

During his tenure at DaynerHall, Matt has worked closely with a number of specialized technology companies, and has extensive experience in the information and computer security space. He has attended numerous security-focused tradeshows and events, and has worked closely with the executive, marcom, product marketing and engineering layers of high-tech organizations.

Matt attended Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL, where he graduated summa cum laude. He has received numerous gold and silver Addy awards, including a Best of Show and the coveted Sentinel Spec Ad Award. His work has also been published in Communications Arts magazine.

An occasional speaker and contributor at forums, Matt is also a certified executive coach - and has also taught at the collegiate level as an adjunct professor of design.

 
Gary

Gary Janz
Vice President of Account Development

 

Gary complements his advertising agency expertise with over 20 years of work in a variety of roles on the client side. He has worked with and for companies in the Hardware, Software, Communications, and Education Industries, including a period as COO of a Material Handling Company. His acute understanding of the corporate environment provides exceptional insight into evolving client/agency relationships and the development of agency services. Gary’s experience includes market research, competitive analysis, product planning, pricing and positioning, market development and marketing communications. His computer science degree, post graduate work in marketing and study in the social sciences have prepared him well for a role in an era where change is constant and customer knowledge is increasing at a dramatic rate.

Gary was the senior member of the team for a number of information technology accounts from start-ups to mature companies including: Computer Training Institute of America, Sprint, Archive/Conner Peripherals, Cable & Wireless, Caribbean Cellular, ECI Telecom, Encore Computer Corporation, IBM Global Services, QMS, Rodime Systems, Telematics Internationaland others.  As leader of the team that helped elevate Advantis to what has become IBM Global Services, he made major contributions to the development of international partnerships for worldwide marketing and advertising.

Gary’s work with US Tech Corps, then Vice President Al Gore’s technology initiative for education, was recognized at a special event in Washington DC.

Early in his transition from the corporate executive role to agency leadership, Gary was elected President of the South Florida Business Professional Advertising Association.  His reputation and contributions within the IT Industry led to an appointment to the Advisory Board of InfoWorld Magazine and annual participation with North America’s top 160 IT marketing executives at the IDG Global Summit and regular invitations from Bill Ziff as his guest at the annual Ziff Davis Boards.

 
Ingrid

Ingrid Darling
Director of Account Management

 

Ingrid has held marketing positions within the high-tech industry for over 18 years. As Marketing Manager for Clarion Software, Ingrid managed the advertising, public relations, trade show and direct marketing programs. In addition, Ingrid worked for Tech Data Corporation and was in charge of the marketing and promotions for the Apple Products Division, managing a $2 million co-op budget.

After Tech Data, Ingrid joined Datamax Corporation as Director of Marketing, and in May of 1999, Ingrid came on board at DaynerHall as Senior Account Executive. She has served as primary account manager for a variety of major accounts, including VERITAS Software, Internet Security Systems and Infocrossing. She earned her B.A. in Communications from Michigan State University.
